G.SHDSL MODEM OVER 1/3 COPPER PAIRS

This is a modem that can be configured by the user to work with MDSL technology (CAP/QAM codification) or G.SHDSL technology (TC-PAM codification) for point-to point connections.

Existing models are CopperLAN and SpeederLAN. The first transmit speeds of up to 4.6Mbps over a copper pair, and the second up to 13.8Mbps over 3 copper pairs.

CopperLAN is an adequate equipment to interconnect a group of remote users to the main LAN network over a braided pair. It has an Ethernet 10/100BaseT port, where as the CopperLAN-SW model has 4 Ethernet 10/100BaseT MDI/MDI-X ports. It can be used in TDM mode to expand an Ethernet port to an E1/T1 line over a copper pair.

These equipments can be managed from the console port or from the LAN.
