MULTIPOINT/RING G.SHDSL MODEM

This is a modem with two G.SHDSL lines with speeds of up to 2.3Mbps over a copper pair or 4.6Mbps over two pairs. It has a 10/100BaseTx Ethernet port, a V.24/RS-232/485 asynchronous serial port (terminal server) and digital inputs and outputs. The mode RS-232 or RS-485 can be defined by the user. The two G.SHDSL interfaces allow multipoint applications on a bus or ring topology.

This equipment is highly effective in network design for the control of traffic lights and IP cameras, airports, utilities and gas and water distribution systems.

The ring transmission is protected by the protocol Spanning Tree.

There is another model, CopperWay-SW, that has 4 RS-232 ports (the first port can be configured as RS-232 or RS-485) and 4 10/100BaseTx Ethernet ports. It reaches speeds of up to 4.6Mbps over a copper pair.

Equipments are available in desktop version and DIN rail, and with a kit for 19’’ rack.
