Remote Control Module
The Remote Control module from the Mediation Family is designed to expand up to eight the number of remote controls that come with the equipments from the different families of ME. This module is valid for all equipments with 19’’ chassis format.
Remote Control actions in devices in a communication room can be programmed in the ME in different ways, and can be activated manually, with a timer or as a consequence of alarm detection.
EM Management
Mediation Elements allow informing about infrastructure alarms that go off in rooms. These alarms can be sent through TRAPS to a SNMP manager or to an alarm management application created by Dycec and called SSA.
On the other hand, EM can be managed by a standard SNMP manager allowing GETS and SETS operations both over Mediation Elements and connected peripherals. Dycec also has a management application called ARGOS which allows administering all EMs organizing them in families, trees, etc, as well as performing monitoring actions on equipments to know their availability and many other functions.
