Desktop manageable Nx64Kb/2Mb interface adaptor
The Desktop manageable Nx64Kb/2Mb interface adaptor (ADI-SG) is a data circuit termination equipment synchronous for 2 Mbps line and simultaneous (full-duplex) bidirectional data cannel of 2 Mbps not structured or 2 Mbps Nx64 Kbps with G. 704 structured frame admitting N values from 1 to 31.
ADI-SG converts the signal from a V.35 or V.11 interface (depending on the model) to a G.703 Interface over a structured or not structured, depending on the equipment configuration, transmission line (according to G. 704 recommendation).
ADI-SG equipments can be managed remotely if they are connected to a ADI-TG in a chassis with TCA controller card. The connection between the management PC and the chassis is done through an Ethernet/IP network. The management information is transmitted to the ADI-SG to the ADI-TG through the G. 703 line.
All ADI-SG models are presented in a desktop chassis with two possibilities of power supply: 220VAC ó 48VDC .
The Manageable Nx64Kb/2Mb Interface Adaptors for 19’’ (ADI-TG) chassis convert the signal of a V.35 or V.11 Interface (depending on the chassis acquired) to a G.703/G.704 interface over a data transmission line of 2Mbps or structured 2Mbps (Nx64Kb, admitting N values from 1 to 31).
Each line is implemented in a card (Europe format) supporting each chassis a maximum of ten lines. ADI cards are removable and interchangeable, even among ADI-TG chassis and ADI-SG desktops (only if they share the same data interface).
ADI-TG equipments can be remotely managed, including each chassis an ADI controller card (ACC). The connection between the computer executing the manager program and the chassis is done through an Ethernet/IP network or a local connection via serial port.
ADI-TG TG is mounted on a chassis 3U high and 19’’ wide, with different possibilities of supply: one supply at 220VAC or 48VDC and double power supply at 48DC-48VDC, 220VAC-.
GESADI is a software system developed to manage DYCEC Nx64Kb/2Mb Interface Adaptors (ADI-SG and ADI-TG).
It allows remotely configuring desktop ADI equipments (ADI-SG) and ADI card groups in 19’’ chassis (ADI-TG). It also gathers status and configuration information generating user alarms.
The system communicates with the controller card of ADI equipments (TCA) –hosted in ADI-TG chassis- through any Ethernet/IP network.
GESADI can also communicate with ADI-TG equipments through a RS-232 line. In this way, the original configuration of the controller card can be loaded or the equipment can be managed locally.
