ETC equipment family is oriented to first and last mile applications. The equipment has advanced functionalities of management and demarcation. Interfaces can be of 100Mbps or 1Gbps, both in fiber optics and copper

ETC solution meets EFM standards for 802.3ah. EFM main functionalities are:

• Self Discovery: ETC equipments can be monitored from the switches they connect to
• Remote Fault Detection (RFD): The equipment sends traps via 802.3h OAM when there is a cut in the fiber (RX)
• Link Pass Through: The equipment sends traps via 802.3h OAM when the local copper port does not work properly.
• Performance Monitoring

Equipments are presented in desktop and card format. There are two chassis in case 10 or 24 cards are grouped.
